Tribest Yolife Yogurt Maker

The Tribest Yolife Yogurt Maker could just be the one to change “Yo Life”(sorry I just had to do it). This Yogurt maker sports the incubator design, and has a few added features that make it a little more appealing than the other conventional yogurt makers on Amazon; these “extras” are probably the reason why buyers leave so many reviews on how they just love this model, let’s take a closer look on these nifty bonuses.

First of all, the main feature that sets this apart from any other regular electronic yogurt maker and drives me to just love the Tribest Yolife Yogurt Maker is that it comes with 2 different lids for the main unit, this is a very clever feature, since I can use my own larger jars to prepare much more yogurt in a single process instead of just relying on the 7 tiny 6 ounce jars they provide with this unit, which have me making yogurt everyday and washing them immediately so I can make another batch.

The lids however aren’t dome shaped, so that means rogue droplets of condensed vapor are going to make their way into your yogurt.

The time indicator function is something that I don’t really use, since I always keep track of when I turned the maker on, but I guess it is a bonus for those who tend to forget or have a really busy schedule and can’t get themselves to remember, but for me I’d prefer an automatic shutoff over a timer in any situation.

You can get very creative with your yogurt making with those tiny jars, well I do use them occasionally when I wish to make individual flavors for everyday of the week (just like they were supposed to be used) but I can’t seem to limit myself to only 6 ounce a day, so the jars are a win for the well disciplined kinds. These jars also have a lid for secure and safe storage of your yogurt in the fridge.

The 5 year warranty is an eye popper, it seems that Tribest is so confident that their little yogurt maker will last longer than 5 years, that gives any buyer confidence on the quality that this incubator has.

One major problem that Tribest should have seen before selling this product is that the lack of a thermostat and the ability to adjust the temperature manually causes the machine to make poor grade yogurt, but with a little control of the ingredients you can fix this, just cross your fingers that the bacteria doesn’t get boiled to death.

For its price this Tribest Yolife Yogurt Maker is an average yogurt maker, it doesn’t come with starters and I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who doesn’t know how to make yogurt or does not have the experience necessary, the 2 lids are great and I just love the big one, but it requires a lot of getting used to before you can get the texture right.
