Here’s what I normally do during the weekends; I would make plain yogurt with the bigger jars before I go out on Saturday nights and the next night, I make individually flavored yogurt with the smaller jars. The best thing about the individual jars is that I can toss it in my bag while heading out in the mornings. It makes snacking healthily so much easier.

Here’s a tip: don’t fill the smaller containers up to the brim if you want to mix fresh fruits with your yogurt. Also, warm up the jars inside the yogurt maker first while you’re preparing the milk. This way, you can speed up the incubation process.

The only complaint that most people have is about the jars. Since the BSA scare, people are complaining that the containers should be made of glass instead of plastic. I for one don’t really mind, but I leave it to you to judge for yourself. My stance has always been “if it’s going to happen, it will happen.”
